On 16 September 2026, Matcha Activations delivered a high-volume bespoke matcha experience for Google at Palais Brongniart in central Paris.
During approximately three hours of live service, our specialist team prepared and served more than 1,000 matchas. The activation combined a dedicated matcha cart, a bespoke six-drink signature menu and cold-foam finishes with the operational planning required for a fast-moving international event.
The matcha service ran alongside two professional coffee stations that produced more than 1,000 coffees, supported by personalised coffee printers. Across the combined Paris operation, the team served over 2,000 coffee and matcha drinks within the three-hour service period.
Matcha Activations provides branded matcha bar hire in Paris and across Europe. For Google at Palais Brongniart, our UK team served more than 1,000 bespoke matchas in approximately three hours, using a signature menu featuring hot and iced matcha, fruit flavours, coconut, refreshers and cold-foam finishes.

The brief required much more than a standard matcha latte station. The service needed to be quick enough for concentrated guest demand while still feeling considered, premium and appropriate for a Google event in one of Paris’s best-known conference and event venues.
Palais Brongniart provided an impressive setting for the activation. Our role was to create a matcha experience capable of matching that environment while managing the practical demands of serving more than 1,000 drinks in a short period.
Our specialist matcha team worked from a dedicated cart, with the ingredients, preparation sequence and service flow organised around speed and consistency. Serving over 1,000 matchas in approximately three hours represents an average of more than 330 drinks per hour, demonstrating what can be achieved when the menu, equipment and staffing are designed together.
Brands planning similar campaigns can explore our wider matcha brand activation service, which can be adapted for conferences, product launches, retail campaigns and international corporate events.

The menu was developed as a collection of six signature matcha drinks, giving guests a choice beyond a conventional latte while keeping the service clear and efficient.
The Iced or Hot Matcha Latte offered a smooth and creamy matcha served with the guest’s choice of milk. Coconut Matcha paired tropical coconut with earthy matcha for a smooth drink. Iced Passionfruit Matcha combined zesty passionfruit with creamy matcha and a citrus lift.
Strawberry Matcha blended sweet strawberry with matcha for a fruity finish, while Apple Matcha paired crisp apple with smooth matcha for a refreshing option. The Watermelon Matcha Refresher brought together light, juicy watermelon and vibrant matcha.
Cold-foam finishes added another visual and textural layer to selected drinks. The result was a colourful menu that felt bespoke to the activation and gave guests several reasons to return and try another signature.
Rather than adding flavours simply for novelty, each recipe was selected to provide a recognisable point of difference while remaining practical for high-volume live preparation. The drinks photographed well, supported guest interaction and demonstrated how matcha can become a complete branded experience rather than a single menu item.
High-volume matcha service requires a different approach from preparing occasional drinks in a café. Every stage must be considered in advance, including ingredient preparation, chilling, milk and cold-foam management, cup flow, menu communication and the movement of guests around the cart.
The Paris activation was designed around those demands. The signature menu offered variety, but the preparation system allowed the team to work efficiently during the busiest periods. This balance was essential: guests received an individual drink choice while the service remained capable of handling sustained demand.
More than 1,000 matchas were served during approximately three hours, creating a major visibility and engagement point within the event. For brands, this level of demand is evidence that matcha is no longer a niche addition. When the recipes and presentation are right, it can become one of the most active areas of a conference or brand experience.
Our matcha bars for exhibitions and conferences are planned around this combination of guest experience, visual appeal and reliable operational delivery.

We specialise in matcha bar hire, matcha cart hire, and matcha catering for events, offering a premium alternative to traditional coffee services. Our matcha activations are designed for brands looking to create a unique, engaging experience.

The matcha activation formed part of a broader beverage experience for Google. Alongside the dedicated matcha cart, two professional coffee stations served more than 1,000 coffees during the same three-hour period.
Two EVEBOT printers gave guests the opportunity to receive personalised images and designs on their coffee, adding an interactive element to the service. While the printers were used for coffee, the matcha menu created its own visual identity through layered colours, fruit flavours and cold-foam finishes.
Together, the services produced more than 2,000 drinks during the event. Coffee provided the familiar exhibition favourite, while the bespoke matcha signatures introduced choice, colour and a contemporary wellness-led alternative.
This connected approach allows clients to commission coffee and matcha through specialist teams while maintaining one coordinated event plan. Matcha Activations focuses on the recipes and presentation required for a credible matcha experience, while Barista Hire London delivers the professional coffee operation and personalised printing.

The Google event in Paris followed directly after a four-day international exhibition at RAI Amsterdam. During the Amsterdam event, our UK barista team served more than 1,000 barista-made drinks before travelling onwards to France for the next stage of the European schedule.
You can read how the team managed the first part of the journey in the RAI Amsterdam coffee cart and barista hire case study.
Moving from Amsterdam to Paris required coordinated transport, staff scheduling, equipment planning, ingredients and venue access. The two events also demanded different service formats. Amsterdam involved four consecutive exhibition days, while Paris concentrated more than 2,000 coffee and matcha orders into approximately three hours.
Together, the projects demonstrate our ability to adapt the service model without losing quality or presentation. Our international matcha activation service supports agencies and brands that want one experienced team to deliver consistent campaigns across European cities.
International delivery begins well before the team reaches the venue. For the Paris activation, the operational plan covered staff travel, equipment transport, stock, refrigeration and chilling requirements, venue access, electrical supply, fresh water, waste water and the timing of each service window.
The drinks also required careful ingredient forecasting. A six-drink menu producing more than 1,000 serves needs enough choice to feel bespoke without creating unnecessary delays or excessive waste. Preparation quantities and backup stock were therefore planned around the expected demand for the individual signatures.
Our established matcha bar hire service in France explains how we support Paris events with branded carts, trained matcha specialists, tailored menus and complete operational planning.

A successful international matcha activation starts with the event date, exact venue, guest numbers, service windows and desired menu. From there, we can recommend the correct staffing, cart configuration, ingredients and branding approach.
The Google activation shows what is possible at significant volume. Bespoke recipes, cold foam, fruit-led matchas and refreshers can all be incorporated, but they must be designed around the number of drinks and the time available to serve them.
For events at Palais Brongniart or elsewhere in Paris, Matcha Activations can provide the specialist team, matcha cart, menu development, equipment, setup and service management required for a complete experience.
